My interests primarily lie in understanding intelligence in humans and computer systems. So to that end, I am pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Science and minoring in Computer Science and Robotics.
I participate in many hackathons, generally taking on the role as systems engineer and user experience designer. Most of our project contain large tech stacks and gain their complexity from the complete stack integration. Take a look at my projects. Last summer I conducted research in the Computer Architecture Lab at Carnegie Mellon (CALCM) with the SAFARI group, working on accurately classifying DRAM energy consumption and another project on improving memory allocation operations for non-contiguous memory blocks. I also conducted research in the Articulab, designing a user modeling system for increasing rapport between humans and virtual agents.
In my free time I like to play Pokémon or League of Legends. I also really enjoy musical theatre, and am a part of Scotch'n'Soda Theatre at Carnegie Mellon.
I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin (cheese town). I attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison for one year while in my senior year of high school as a special degree. I studied in the Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Physics (AMEP) program.
